PLANNING SUPERVISOR

JOB PURPOSE:

• Develop and review the production plan with Managers for approval. Monitor the execution of the production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely fashion. Escalate complex issues to the Manager for resolution

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily monitoring and ensuring that customer demand /rolling demand forecast process “from order to delivery” is completed as per the planning schedule to be effective and efficient as company targets.
• Create a Master Schedule Planning through resource analysis including material sizing and capacity sizing.
• Create daily/weekly production plan to supply for sale demand based on production capacity, raw material readiness, order confirmation, and inventory policy then follow up production execution and meet on-time delivery.
• Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to plan the sequence of on-machine process, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations relating to specific portions of the product for guidance of production to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications.
• Upload weekly production plan into the SAP system.
• Visits shopfloors frequently to review production status and work with Production teams on issue prevention & resolution and ensure the best utilization of skills, machines, and manpower.
• Meet daily with manufacturing team and other relevents to assess production schedules, (adjust as necessary based on production results) optimize run quantities, and minimize changeovers to help achieve 100% on-time delivery.
• Ensure a reasonable of plan to get the consensus of the Production team Weekly.
• Ensure production progress, delivery, and capacity of company from the development stage through mass production
• Cooperate with cross-functional team to solve raw material issues (shortages, quality), or revise plan in case of late delivery of material, packaging (both soft file and SAP system) on development, continual improvement, preventive action, and permanent corrective action on quality, delivery, and efficiency, ensure that production plan is proceeded smoothly Weekly/Daily and achieve company targets.
• Minimize changeovers and production schedule changes while maintaining the integrity of the production board revision.
• Update and control product change/upgrade in the production plan to match confirmed change/upgrade and minimize SLOB periodically/ When it occurs.
• To monitor productivity and efficiency to meet delivery on time react to urgent customer requests and reschedule planning appropriately if possible.
• Introduce long-term resolutions to shortages due to a lack of material control on the production floor.
• Monitor planning metrics and drive for continuous improvement to the completion of complex assignments.
• Proactively communicate supply chain issues and provide alternatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain management, Business Management, or a related field is preferred. 
• At least 5 years working experience as same position in the industry environment.
• Knowledge in the automotive industry – Production / Quality.
• Awareness of IATF 16949, GMP, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 5S, statistical techniques for I.E., OEE, Capacity Analysis, the certified internal auditor is preferred
• Proficient English.
