Product Development Engineer

Authority & Responsibility:

• Perform design and application related tasks.

• Follow up and support issues internal and external engineering related topics.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Design activities for customer drawings and internal drawings.

• Participate in the quotation process by submitting the drawing along with proposed specifications based on Metkraft’s capability.

• Build documents for product databases.

• Participate in investigating root cause of engineering issues from the customer feedback. Then suggest the corrective action to solve these issues.

• Review and participate in new design development.

• Perform reverse engineering when customer parts are provided.

• Participate in achieving and maintaining ISO 9001 certification.

• Support Sales team to advise on technical topics to the customer. And collaborate with engineering team to solve any issues in production.

• Accept other jobs as requested.

• Minimum 1 years of design background.

• Solid engineering background in GD&T & Design.

• Ability to make presentations and report using MS office.

• Fluent in SolidWorks. Using AutoCAD is a plus.

• Knowledge in manufacturing process for metals, such as metals, machining, H/T and etc is plus.

• Experience/Skills: Bilingual communication – ability to speak, read and write English and Vietnamese.

• Good interpersonal communication skills.
