Product Engineer - C&S ( Kỹ sư sản phẩm - khu vực cắt may)

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for developing and maintaining patterns, technical drawings, and related engineering documentation for new products, ECO/ECR projects, and production support activities. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure product information, patterns, and drawings are accurate, updated, and released on time to support manufacturing operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Development

• Create and update patterns and technical drawings for new products.
• Support product transfer from development stage to production.
• Plan and coordinate materials for New Go and PLR runs.
• Review and resolve issues during sample making and production trials.
• Maintain and update engineering documentation, patterns, and drawings.
• Control CNC cutting programs for fabric and supporting materials.
• Coordinate with AFI team to ensure timely ECO implementation and product updates.

ECO / ECR Management

• Develop patterns, drawings, and samples for ECO/ECR projects.
• Support AFI projects and change implementation activities.
• Monitor and ensure ECO/ECR execution is completed accurately and on schedule.

Cost Saving & Continuous Improvement

• Prepare patterns, drawings, samples, and cost estimations for improvement projects.
• Support productivity, quality, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Participate in testing, trial runs, and validation of engineering changes.

Production & Quality Support

• Support production teams in resolving pattern, drawing, and material-related issues.
• Assist quality improvement projects through technical documentation updates.
• Ensure all engineering documents are properly controlled and released.

Other Duties

• Support idea implementation and continuous improvement programs.
• Perform other assignments as directed by the supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Garment Technology, Furniture Manufacturing, or related fields.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing environments; furniture industry experience is preferred.
• Experience in product development, pattern making, technical drawings, or engineering support.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering change management.

Skills

• Understanding of sewing, upholstery, and pattern-making processes.
• Ability to read and prepare technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with overseas teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Basic English communication skills.
