Production Controller

1. Production Performance & Operations Analysis

• Analyze production performance, backlog status, operational efficiency, working capital and delivery performance.
• Identify root causes impacting production output, backlog, production cost, working capital and delivery timelines.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse, and related departments to drive recovery actions and improve overall performance.
• Generate regular production and performance reports and provide data analysis to support management decision-making.
• Calculate actual production costing and compare against standard costing.
• Analyze cost variances and identify root causes affecting production costs.
• Prepare cost and performance reports and support continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and cost control.
• Update and maintain sales price lists for uploading into the Visma system.
• Production KPI report to mother company in Denmark
• Taking part in the ongoing cross functional lean process
• Coordinate with related departments to ensure pricing accuracy and timely updates in Visma.

2. Cost Management & Business Partnering

• Calculate actual production costing and compare against standard costing.
• Analyze material, labor and overhead variances and identify root causes affecting production costs.
• Maintain and continuously improve product costing models.
• Validate BOMs and manufacturing standards to ensure costing accuracy.
• Support pricing decisions through accurate cost information and profitability analysis.
• Prepare cost and performance reports and support continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and cost control.

3. ERP & Digital Transformation

• Prepare cost and performance reports and support continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and cost control.
• Participate in the implementation of new ERP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Support the development of reporting tools, KPI dashboards and business intelligence solutions.
• Ensure data quality and governance across production, inventory and costing processes.
• Maintain and improve master data structures within ERP systems.
• Coordinate with related departments to ensure pricing accuracy and timely updates in the Visma system.
• Update and maintain sales price lists for uploading into the Visma system.

4. Continuous Improvement

• Participate in cross-functional improvement projects and lean initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for productivity, efficiency and cost improvements.
• Take part in ongoing cross-functional lean process activities and support operational excellence programs.

• Good knowledge of production processes, production control and manufacturing operations.
• Ability to analyze production performance, backlog and costing variances.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing economics, standard costing and cost management principles.
• Experience with ERP systems, data management and master data maintenance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to prepare reports, dashboards and present production data accurately.
• Power BI experience is an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills across departments.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related fields.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Production Control, Production Planning, Manufacturing Analysis, Cost Analysis or related roles.
• Experience with ERP implementation projects would be considered a strong advantage.
• Experience in furniture manufacturing or make-to-order production environments is preferred.
