PRODUCTION ENGINEER

JOB PURPOSE:

• Production Engineer leads and coordinates production engineering activities to ensure stable daily operations, effective problem solving, process standardization, and continuous improvement, supporting production targets for output, efficiency, quality, and cost.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Provide daily engineering support to ensure stable production operations and quickly resolve process, tooling, and layout issues.
• Develop, maintain, and standardize production processes, SOPs, and engineering documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen, waste reduction, root cause analysis, and PFMEA updates.
• Plan, prioritize, and coach the Production Engineering team to achieve operational objectives.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), process changes, trial runs, and production readiness.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and R&D to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor production KPIs, analyze data trends, and implement actions to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Oversee sample builds, pilot runs, and risk management before mass production.
• Lead product handovers, ensuring process, tooling, documentation, and training are fully prepared.
• Govern engineering change activities (ECR/ECN), capture lessons learned, and report project progress to management.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related).
• 3–5 years as production engineer or team-leading role in manufacturing.
• Strong technical judgment and decision-making capability.
• Proven leadership and site management skills.
• Excellent project planning and risk management ability.
• Strong cross-functional communication and coordination.
• Data-driven mindset using KPI, MES, and reports.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong mindset about safety, discipline at site.
