Production Planning Specialist

Production Planning

• Develop short-term, mid-term, and long-term production plans for the assembly workshop.
• Analyze production demand based on sales forecasts, orders, and inventory levels.
• Balance production capacity (manpower, equipment, line capacity).

Coordination & Execution

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (procurement, warehouse, quality, engineering) to ensure material availability and production readiness.
• Monitor daily production progress and ensure adherence to the plan.
• Identify and resolve issues impacting production (material shortages, technical issues, downtime).

Data Management & Reporting

• Update and maintain production data in systems (ERP/MES).
• Analyze KPIs such as output, line efficiency (OEE), defect rate, and lead time.
• Prepare periodic reports and recommend improvement actions.

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives.
• Optimize planning processes to reduce inventory, minimize waiting time, and improve efficiency.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in production planning (preferably in automotive or mass production environments).
• Understanding of assembly line operations is an advantage.

Skills

• Strong analytical and planning skills.
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, forecasting); knowledge of SAP/ERP/MES is a plus.
• Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.

Language

• Good command of English (reading technical documents and basic communication).
