BASIC FUNCTION OF THE JOB:
1. Sales Order Management cum customer service
2. Master Production Scheduling.
3. Inventory Management
4. Data analysis & reporting
Sales Order management and Customer Service
• Manage customer orders from receipt through fulfillment while ensuring on-time delivery.
• Review order feasibility considering production capacity, material availability, and lead time.
• Prioritize customer orders according to business requirements and customer commitments.
• Communicate order status, delivery schedules, and potential delays to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Sales, PLM, Manufacturing, and Logistics to resolve order-related issues.
• Handle expedite requests, order changes, cancellations, and recovery plans.
Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule to meet customer demand while maximizing manufacturing efficiency.
• Balance demand, production capacity, labor availability, and material supply.
• Convert demand forecasts and sales orders into executable production plans.
• Monitor schedule adherence and recommend corrective actions for deviations.
• Coordinate production priorities across multiple manufacturing lines or product families.
• Support for capacity planning activities.
• Optimize production sequence to improve throughput, equipment utilization, and delivery performance
Inventory Management
• Monitor raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels which are under assigned product groups.
• Maintain inventory within target levels while ensuring material availability.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant major, such as Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, business, finance or economic related field
Working Experience:
• A minimum 3+ years of working experience in the field of Master Planning / Master Production Scheduling in ERP environment.
• Experience with high-mix/low-volume or semiconductor, electronics, optics, precision manufacturing, or similar industries is preferred.
