The Production Associate is responsible for providing daily operational support in the processing areas, working closely with supervisors and operators to ensure optimal production performance. This role is accountable for achieving all production KPI targets and driving continuous improvement initiatives across various scales. Additionally, the incumbent will play a crucial role in training and onboarding new employees for different positions within the production team.
Production Management:
1. Work and support supervisors and operators in process to ensure smooth operations.
2. Monitor production KPIs, analyze performance trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes, efficiency, and product quality.
4. Ensure adherence to industry food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Continuous Improvement & Projects:
1. Lead and execute improvement projects ranging from minor process optimizations to large-scale operational enhancements.
2. Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve recovery, and enhance production efficiency.
3. Drive initiatives for standardization, automation, and cost reduction.
Training & Development:
1. Develop and implement training programs for new employees/refresh training for employees across different positions.
2. Provide on-the-job coaching and mentorship to enhance team competency and productivity.
3. Maintain training records and development plans to support career progression within the production team.
Data analysis & reporting:
1. Collect, validate, and interpret production data to generate accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
2. Identify patterns, variances, and root causes in production performance through statistical and trend analysis.
3. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management for decision-making and continuous improvement.
1. Graduated at least from university level or above.
2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role within a factory environment.
3. Priority given to candidates with previous experience in food manufacturing.
4. Solid knowledge of food product manufacturing processes and industry standards.
5. Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
6. Proficiency in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Outlook.
7. English communication skills at intermediate level or above.
