1. Purpose
- This role leads the national Small & Medium (S&M) Project business by defining strategy, building organizational capability, and orchestrating cross-channel execution to deliver a strong project pipeline and sustainable, profitable growth.
- Design and lead the national S&M project strategy—covering segmentation, customer targeting, channel deployment, and capability development—to unlock long-term growth opportunities.
- Build, coach, and manage a high-performing S&M organization (PDE, PSE, Market Access, Project Channel roles) to ensure strong pipeline creation, influence, and conversion across all regions.
- Drive owner-level engagement and specification influence with developers, hospitality groups, retail chains, and institutional owners to secure multi-site and repeat project opportunities.
- Ensure seamless cross-functional alignment with Professional, Retail (SSO/LSO/KAR), MTI/LSO chains, Technical, Marketing, and Commercial Excellence to deliver consistent and unified project execution.
- Strengthen governance on pricing, funnel management, CRM discipline, and compliance to protect margins, reduce leakage, and enhance Dulux’s competitiveness in the S&M project market.
2. Responsibilities
a. Lead National S&M Strategy & Execution Framework
Develop and execute the end-to-end S&M Project strategy, covering segmentation, customer targeting, channel governance, and cross-functional deployment.
b. Build & Develop S&M Organizational Capability
Lead Project Development Executive - ex. MDO, Field Project Executive – ex. DGO, National Strategic Account Manager – ex. Market Access, and Project Channel Manager LSO MTI roles; ensure capability building, discipline, and high performance.
c. Oversee Owner-Level Influence & Sector Penetration
Guide National Strategic Account Manager – ex. Market Access roles to penetrate key sectors (residential, hospitality, retail, institutional, government
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Architecture, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years in project sales, key account management, specification or commercial leadership roles.
• Strong experience managing multi-site customers, developers, hospitality groups, or institutional owners.
• Proven track record in building teams, driving strategy, and executing through cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking and strong commercial acumen
• Strong leadership and coaching capability
• Excellent project management and stakeholder-influencing skills
• High proficiency in presentations and negotiation
• Ability to drive alignment across Professional, Retail, Technical & Marketing teams
• Strong analytical skills: funnel management, data visibility, pipeline forecasting
