Purchasing Executive

This position is responsibility for VICO Project at Quang Tri Province, he/she will be in charge of ordering Capex, MRO and follow up material…

- Support Project team meet project deadline

- Giving best solution during set up project, commissioning

1. Sourcing

• Conduct competitive sourcing for assigned categories which is more related to Capex/MRO and third party service at Quang Tri Province.

• Manage effectively end to end purchasing process of Project team in compliance with approved procedure

• Solve related complaints/issue with right manner

• Maintains relationship with vendors or suppliers and negotiates contracts for more complex purchase order.

• Breakdown cost on quotation- TCO application

• Limit sole source in category

• Understand bidding process, Price comparison

• Deal potential local supplier

• Longer Credit term/ at least 30-45days

• Construction- D&B, M&E…

2. Supplier Management

• To develop & manage supplier pool of assigned categories

• At least 3 supplier’s development in MRO/Third-party service

• Supplier performance management for preferred supplier’s yearly

• Understand master data

• Supplier Evaluate

• And Supplier preferred

3. Cost savings

• Obtain cost-saving as target in KPIs yearly

• Understand cost saving and cost reduction

• Understand cost breakdown

• Giving solution to project team.

• For VICO project, purchasing has to manage the cost as much as we can and lower cost than HPC line 3-4, because of COVID.

4. Compliance

• Understand and respect all safety requirements

• Understand and deploy ICRF as per Group and Companies requirements

• Complete all assigned trainings of Saint-Gobain Group

• Concentrate on EHS regulation

5. Reports

• Complete assigned reports and send them on time

• Weekly report

• Monthly report

• And project timeline

6. E-tools execution

• Deploy all requested e-tools of Saint-Gobain Group,

• Set up target and have monthly progress follow-up

• Apply RFX- Tender system from Saint-Gobain VN.

7. Collaboration

• Have good collaboration with team members and other departments in order to deliver the best results of assigned jobs/ projects

8. Other requirements

1. Education: Bachelor degree in specialized in Economics, Foreign Trade,…

2. Experience: At least 3 years of working experience in similar position in MNC organizations or other heavy industry companies.

3. Communication: Basic communication skills

4. Computer Microsoft office skills: Good at Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required
