I/ Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement Management:
- Execute local and overseas purchasing activities in line with cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts with domestic and international suppliers.
- Prepare, review, and manage purchase contracts in compliance with company policies.
- Issue and manage Purchase Orders (PO) based on final negotiations and approved requirements.
- Ensure continuous supply of required materials and proactively identify potential supply risks.
- Source and evaluate new suppliers; develop alternative supply sources when necessary.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes.
2. Inventory Control & Planning:
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, chemicals, and other goods.
- Coordinate with SCM and Production teams to develop purchasing plans.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
3. Issue Resolution & Compliance:
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues related to pricing, quality, delivery, and invoicing.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with applicable laws and regulations, particularly those related to chemical management.
- Prepare purchasing reports and provide data analysis as required.
