Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Q&A Assistant (Entry level) at Dole Vietnam Company, working at our farm location in Tay Ninh, Binh Duong (now is Tay Ninh, HCM). The Q&A Assistant will be responsible for supporting quality assurance operations, conducting inspections and audits, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with company standards. Additional tasks include assisting in the investigation of issues, preparing reports, and collaborating with other departments to ensure the highest quality of products.

With the tasks will be performed:

• Perform quality inspections of products and processes from production up to the shipment based on prescribe sampling procedures and techniques and conduct sensory evaluation (if needed) to meet the set quality specifications, standards, and tolerances.
• Monitor and check records of all required processes and product quality parameters; recommend corrective actions for any deviations to specifications, standards, and tolerances.
• Monitor the implementation or corrective actions.
• Assist QA supervisor in the conduct of internal QA and FSS audits of existing suppliers – both farm and facilities.
• Perform manufacturing process audit to ensure conformance to established standards, procedures, and protocols.
• Conduct sampling and inspection of all incoming products including raw materials (whether imported or locally sourced).
• Ensure that products are stored and shipped in accordance to prescribed storage and shipping temperatures to maintain the quality and freshness of all products.
• Ensure storage conditions and temperatures are monitored and recorded in the prescribed inspection form.
• Adhere and support all policies related to quality and food safety including all applicable quality and food safety system procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
• Support and observe all Company policies, standards, Code of Conduct and processes and project Company’s Image amongst all internal and external customers;
• Monitor the weather data at farms and make reports;
• Travel to other farms followed the assignment of company;

Qualifications

• Holding University degree in Agriculture/ Chemical/ Biology/ Plant Science, or Horticulture, or equivalent education
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes, inspection, and auditing
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Communication skills English and Vietnamese
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office
• Previous experience from 1-2 years in QA area, bananas-related experience will be highly appreciated.
