Quantity Measurement & Cost Planning
- Prepare Full Bills of Quantities (BQ) in accordance with Standard Method of Measurement (SMM).
- Carry out quantity measurement for Architectural, Civil and Structural works. Experience in Interior, Façade and Landscape works will be an advantage.
- Build up unit rates when required.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of Preliminaries works.
- Prepare partial Cost Appraisals, Cost Plan Reports and Pre-Tender Cost Estimation Reports, including measurement of Construction Floor Area (CFA) and preparation of Value Engineering Reports.
- Carry out cost comparisons, cost analyses and maintain project cost databases and other operational databases.
- Follow up and update market trends in material prices.
Design Information & Project Documentation
- Manage design information (drawings and specifications) and Requests for Information (RFIs) from/ to Designers.
- Prepare project briefing meeting minutes.
Tender Management
- Prepare Pre-Qualification (Pre-Q) Reports and tender documents.
- Support the Senior QS in tender management, including attending tender interviews when required, managing tender clarification questionnaires, and handling all pre- and post-tender correspondence with Contractors.
- Support the Senior QS in preparing Tender Evaluation Reports, Letters of Acceptance (LOA), and Contract Documents.
Post-Contract Cost Management
- Prepare valuations for Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs).
- Assess and close out Variation Orders.
- Support the preparation of Financial Statement Reports.
- Prepare Final Account Reports and Statements of Final Account.
- Maintain records of project insurances, warranties, bonds and securities.
