Quality Assurance Officer (Kiểm định giáo dục )

The main duties are to coordinate program transition and accreditation activities. To support and guide departments and faculties in assuring and enhancing academic standards and quality with specific responsibility for coordination and maintenance of accreditations.

• Coordinate the program reviews of the transition process
• Guide and support programs and departments with self-assessment reports for accreditation
• Develop and coordinate preparation activities for such as training, consulting, material provision, communication, administration, contract and payment with accreditation bodies
• Manage external accreditation review visits including co-developing a schedule of meetings for external visitors, acting as first point of contact for external review visitors, organize travel and accommodation and host external visitors
• Develop and maintain accreditation documentation including coordinating data provision, a library of key documents related to accreditation and implementing improvements and monitoring changes in line with external quality standards
• Coordinate implementation of recommendations and other outcomes from accreditation
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the strategic context of external quality assurance in Vietnam, Germany and internationally and contribute to the revision of university policies and procedures
• Create and maintain other systems to enhance university quality in line with external quality standards
• Organise internal workshops relating to quality management or arrange staff and faculty attendance at conferences and seminars organised by external accreditation bodies or other organisations

1. Qualification: Master degree in a relevant field for the position, training certifications in quality management

2. Experiences: 

• Several years of experience in higher education quality management
• Experience in the preparation of external assessments and accreditation

3. Knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of higher education quality standards and accreditation procedures

4. Skills

• Excellent English and Vietnamese proficiency orally and in writing
• Excellent intra- and inter-cultural communication
• Secure command of Office computer programs including basic statistical analysis, management of databases
• Ability to work efficiently, independently and self-disciplined
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
