Quality Engineer (IQC Staff)

JOB PURPOSE

Ensuring product and material compliance by effectively executing SAP release protocols and managing the formal non-conformance (PVNC) process for all incoming and outgoing goods

MAIN DUTIES

·        Receive incoming raw materials from the warehouse and finished products from production.

·        Arrange incoming raw materials and products for inspection according to their required usage date.

·        Operate SAP to release incoming raw materials and create PVNC reports for non-conforming materials.

·        Operate SAP to release products according to the production process and create PVNC reports for non-conforming products.

·        Update the measurement values of the product into the ATR of the codes that have updated ATR on the digital system.

·        Other tasks assigned by superiors.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

·        Ensure the required number of raw material and product codes are inspected accurately each day.

·        Notify relevant departments of non-conforming raw materials and products for further handling through the SAP system..

·        Maintain and archive inspection reports.

Ensure the raw material from suppliers do not disrupt the line flow.

Align inspection criteria, manage nonconforming product control.

JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTS

-        Education: Technical Vocational Diploma, Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related fields

-        2 years + in IQC

-        Intermediate English.

-        Good command of Microsoft Word and Excel.

KEY COMPETENCIES

·        Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.

·        Experience with SAP or ERP systems is preferred

OTHER INFORMATION

·        Able to work overtime.
