To drive product development in the Personal Care (Hair Care, Skin Care & Deodorant) category across Vietnam and SEA markets by delivering superior, insight-led solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
• Championing hair care, Skin Care & Deodorant/perfume technology development across South East Asia market.
• Leading technology innovations in the male grooming & female grooming product range.
• Competition and patent tracking, in order to bring in insights and present a business case for innovations.
• Lead NPDs end to end from the ideation to implementation stage. Be the technical project leader in the organization.
• Develop product strategy for design and reapply markets.
• Collaborate with Consumer Technical Insights team to mine insights into product design.
• Champion value management initiatives.
• Collaborate and develop projects with other national/international labs: generate program scope and run programs successfully.
• Represent R&D in internal and external forums.
• Publish research articles in scientific journals, generate IPR.
• 5 + years of experience in FMCG/Pharma Topical Industry
• Ph.D / M.Tech / M.Pharm degree is preferred
• Consumer trends – Able to identify consumer trends/habits/attitudes through closer interactions
• Co-creation - ability to work with cross-functional teams to convert consumer insights into business opportunities
• Application of domain knowledge to convert technology into perceivable consumer benefits
• Must exhibit technology led entrepreneurship – ability to create unique (first to market) consumer values that differentiate from existing product and pack
• Ability to leverage technical expertise of business associates in new businesses
• Project management- ability to handle multiple projects at different stages of development.
