REPORT CHECKER_HARDLINE_TIC Lab - Tan Phu, HCM

Role Purpose

To review and validate laboratory testing reports before issuance, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with customer requirements, applicable testing standards, and internal quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Report Review & Validation

• Review laboratory reports before customer release to ensure all information is accurate and complete.
• Verify testing assignments, customer requirements, testing standards, protocols, and laboratory results against report contents.
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies, missing information, formatting issues, and typographical errors before report issuance.
• Ensure reports meet internal quality requirements prior to release.

2. Cross-functional Coordination

• Communicate with laboratory teams and relevant stakeholders to clarify technical information when required.
• Coordinate with related departments to resolve report discrepancies and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Support effective communication throughout the report finalization process.

3. Report Quality & Timeliness

• Ensure reports are completed and released within committed turnaround times.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy while working in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
• Contribute to the overall quality and reliability of laboratory reporting.

4. Other Responsibilities

• Perform other duties assigned by the direct manager.

Education

• College or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, Consumer Products, or other related disciplines.

Experience

• Minimum 2 year of experience in a Report Checker, Report Reviewer, Technical Report Reviewer, or similar role within the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) industry.
• Experience in Hardlines, Furniture, Toys, Juvenile Products, or other Consumer Product Testing laboratories is highly preferred.
• Experience reviewing laboratory testing reports before customer release is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 Quality Management System is preferred.

Language Skills

• Good communication in English, with the ability to read and understand technical documents, testing standards, and laboratory reports.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing technical reports and documentation.
• Able to interpret testing information and identify inconsistencies accurately.
