Routing Clerk

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for managing and improving the Wanek and US Rate systems, focusing on routing tasks and rate maintenance. Key duties include creating, updating, and maintaining routings, ensuring accurate pay calculations using standard rate sheets, and working closely with various teams to ensure consistent rate updates. The role also requires a solid understanding of the Bill of Materials (BOM) and routing within the MAPICS system. Additional responsibilities include cross-functional support, project data collection, and auditing of SOP applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and update routings for new and existing work centers.
2. Use standard rate sheets to calculate rates for routing updates.
3. Coordinate with the incentive data team to ensure accurate pay rates.
4. Work with US engineering to maintain and revise rates as needed.
5. Maintain an understanding of BOM and routing interactions in MAPICS.
6. Provide support and training in other technical service areas.
7. Query and analyze data within the MAPICS system.
8. Gather data for ongoing projects.
9. Perform audits to ensure SOP compliance.

1. Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field

2. Experience: From 1-year experience 

3. Knowledge of:

• Familiarity with administrative and clerical tasks such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography, transcription, form design, and other office procedures and terminology.
• Strong understanding of the English language, including grammar, composition, word meanings, and spelling.
• Ability to organize and simplify large volumes of information.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Solid background in computer usage.
