Job Summary
The Electrical Safety Testing Laboratory Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the laboratory to ensure that all testing processes are in compliance with relevant standards and regulations. This position requires in-depth technical knowledge, management skills, and excellent communication skills to ensure efficient laboratory operations and customer satisfaction.
Job Description
Laboratory Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the laboratory to ensure proper functioning of test equipment and facilities.
- Develop and implement laboratory management systems and operational procedures to ensure standardization and accuracy of the testing process.
- Manage laboratory budget, control costs and optimize resource allocation.
Testing:
- Responsible for safety testing of electrical and electronic products to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g. IEC, UL, EN, etc.).
- Supervise the testing process and review the test reports to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data.
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide professional technical support and solutions.
Team Management:
- Lead and manage the lab team, responsible for personnel training and performance evaluation.
- Motivate team members and promote teamwork to improve work efficiency and quality.
- Solve internal team problems and maintain a good working atmosphere.
Quality Control and Improvement:
- Oversee the implementation of the laboratory quality management system to ensure compliance with quality standards such as ISO/IEC 17025.
- Conduct regular reviews and improvements to enhance the laboratory's testing capabilities and service quality.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback to continuously improve service quality.
