Job Description
The Employee shall be responsible for supporting the Company’s seafood business related to Japanese clients and the Japan market, with a balanced focus on Quality Control / Quality Assurance and Sales Support / Market Promotion.
1. Key Responsibilities
1.1 Quality Control / Quality Assurance (QC/QA)
- Support monitoring and coordination of seafood product quality for export to Japan.
- Assist in quality inspections, sampling, and evaluations in accordance with customer specifications and Japanese market requirements.
- Coordinate with internal QA/QC, production teams, and suppliers to follow up on quality issues and corrective actions.
- Prepare, review, and translate quality-related documents, including product specifications and inspection reports (Japanese, English, Vietnamese).
- Accompany and support Japanese clients during factory visits, audits, and quality inspections.
1.2 Sales Support & Market Promotion
- Provide Japanese-language support during client visits, meetings, negotiations, and online conferences.
- Assist in presenting seafood products, processing methods, and quality standards to Japanese customers.
- Support sales activities, including customer inquiries, order follow-up, and coordination between clients and internal departments.
- Assist in market development for the Japan market by collecting customer feedback and market information.
1.3 General Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between Japanese clients and the Company’s internal departments.
- Travel domestically and internationally to support client visits, inspections, and business activities.
- Work on-site at factories, processing facilities, or supplier locations when required, including extended stays for inspections, audits, and quality monitoring.
- Perform other duties reasonably assigned in line with business needs.
