Senior BIM Engineer (Tekla)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models for structural projects using mainly Tekla
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs into overall project models.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D models of structural components, including rebar, precast elements, steel structures, and concrete.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, drawings, and schedules.
• Understand clash detection results and amend models accordingly.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and provide input on model-related issues.
• Continuously update and manage BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the implementation of BIM standards and best practices within the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in BIM modeling, preferably in structural disciplines including reinforcement concrete structures and steel structures.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Expertise in Tekla. 
• Deep knowledge of Prefab (precast) concerete.
• English proficiency in conversation. Good English communication skills.
• Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in model creation and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes and industry standards.
