Mô tả Công việc

The Electrical & Instrument (E&I) Technician is responsible for supervision and coordination, execution and control of works related to maintenance, repair, calibration, testing, certification, rectification and troubleshooting of all electrical, measurement, metering, control and telecom equipment/systems. He is also responsible for the coordination of ordering materials, spare parts with Mechanical and Production disciplines to minimize production downtime and maintenance cost. He shall operate and maintain E&I equipment and systems including but not limited to generators, motors, transformers, motor control center, protection relays, electrical drivers, heaters, fans, fire & gas, transmitter, coriolis/ultrasonic/orifice flow meters, positioner, PLC, ICSS, flow computer, microwave telecommunication System…etc.

During EPCI execution phases, the Senior E&I Technician is going to participate in supervision of installation, hook-up, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, attend training programs in HSE and E&I area, and other tasks that need to be prepared for operations phase.

Depend on Operation phases, the E&I Technician has duties & responsibilities as follows:

HSE

  • Follow and promote all safety regulations and ensure plant adheres to the company policies and regulations.
  • Complete all HSE CBTA modules as required in Master CBTA Matrix.
  • Regularly submit HAZARD reports.
  • Encourage staff to raise HAZARD report.
  • Ensure that the HAZARD actions relating to E&I shall be closed out as soon as possible.

Pre-Operations Phase

  • Participate and provide support when required in FAT/SAT, pre-commissioning and commissioning of E&I equipment/systems of CPP, WHP(s) and Packages.
  • Develop and review preservation/maintenance instructions for E&I equipment and systems
  • Review and recommend two-year operation spares for E&I equipment and systems.
  • Complete all HSE and mandatory technical modules that defined in training matrix before going offshore.
  • Implementation of electrical/instrument preservation activities on WHP/HUB if required
  • Participate in developing the CMMS project.

Responsible for all action items as defined in operations readiness check list to be ready for Operations Readiness Review.

Operations Phase

  • Proactive work and plan to achieve the department goals.
  • Evaluate and schedule preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and unplanned repairs.
  • Ensure all high priority Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Work Orders are completed on schedule
  • Control and supervise the work of all E&I Technicians, E&I Contractors and Vendors to ensure that all activities are carried out in the safe and efficient manner in line with company policies, regulations, standards and procedures.
  • Operate and maintain E&I equipment and systems including but not limited to generators, motors, transformers, motor control center, protection relays, electrical drivers, heaters, fans, fire & gas, transmitter, coriolis/ultrasonic/orifice flow meters, positioner, PLC, ICSS, flow computer, microwave telecommunication system…etc.
  • Calibration/testing of E&I devices
  • Inspect and report any defect to the E&I Supervisor in a clear and concise manner. Record all relevant information in logs as required.
  • Evaluate and solve the problem of breakdown and repair issues within the maintenance department.
  • Provide QA/QC check on all necessary equipment
  • Give support to work preparation, planning and scheduling activities including shutdown/maintenance campaign
  • Involvement in daily maintenance planning activities as well as direct input into 14-, 28- and 90-days plans

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

  • University or College degree, Major in Electrical or Measurement or Automation Engineering.
  • 3-5 years experiences in the maintenance and operations of instrument, electrical and control equipment/systems within the hydrocarbons processing industry, with 4 years to handle similar position in the industry.
  • Experience using computerized Planned Maintenance Systems such as Maximo, SAP etc.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Organized and able to meet deadlines.
  • Good personal and interpersonal skills, fluency in written and spoken English, culturally aware with experience of working with multicultural workforce preferred.
