Senior Equity Research Analyst

1. Market Commentary

• Compile trading data, provide market commentary, and synthesize and analyze domestic and international news.
• Conduct sector analysis, stock analysis and recommendations, and special topic research.
• Represent the company in media interviews and write newspaper articles as required by the direct manager.
• Participate in company seminars as a speaker or support content preparation when required.

2. Company and Industry Reports

• Monitor assigned sectors daily and prepare the Industry Reports, Company Reports, and Company Visit/Meeting Notes.
• Other research updates.

3. Macroeconomic and Market Strategy Reports

• Collect and analyze data to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual macroeconomic updates and forecasts of macroeconomic indicators.
• Prepare stock market forecasts and investment strategy reports.

4. Internal Research Reports

• Prepare company snapshots for Dealing and the Risk Management Committee to support investment and margin lending decisions.
• Conduct quarterly credit ratings for listed companies.
• Forecast market indices and trading value annually to support business planning.
• Prepare special reports as required.

5. Training and Development

• Participate in training programs for new brokers and internal training activities, including content preparation, as required.
• Proactively learn and apply AI tools in research work to improve efficiency and productivity.

6. Other Duties

• Provide backup for other analysts when required.
• Support other divisions/departments with data updates and analysis.
• Perform other tasks as specifically assigned by division management.

• University degree in Finance - Banking, or Economics.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience; good knowledge of the Vietnamese stock market.
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to write reports in both Vietnamese and English.
• Proficient in using AI tools, including generative AI, analytics assistants, and automation tools, to support research, data processing, and report writing; proactive in exploring new technologies and AI tools to improve productivity and analysis quality.
• Proficient in office software and data processing/visualization tools, with advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Python, SQL, or Power BI is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• High sense of responsibility and integrity.
