(Senior) Lab Technician – Chemical Testing (FCM / Non-Food)

This role will also act as the Member of Lab Team Representative in TUV SUD Vietnam office. You will support the Lab Manager in managing the day-to-day including Testing, test report and training new employee in Lab Team.

• Provide guidance to team members on food contact regulatory requirements and testing approaches for different markets (Vietnam, EU, US..)
• Performing the tests according to test methods / standards requirements. Example: QCVN, U.S. FDA Regulation, EU Regulation…
• Record, consolidate and evaluate the testing results
• Develop and validate new test methods for Food Contact Materials, and improve existing methods to meet regulatory and client requirements
• Other assignments upon getting request from management. Ensure compliance with testing standards, particularly ISO 17025
• Collaborate with the technical team to optimize testing processes and improve efficiency
• Assist in resolving operational issues and suggest process improvements
• Report daily testing activities to Reporting Officer and Lab Managers

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Food Contact Material (FCM) testing. Experience operating analytical instruments such as GC-MS, LC-MS, GC-FID… is an advantage.
• Good reading and understanding of technical English.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
