Legal Management and Contracts
- Draft, review, negotiate, and conduct legal due diligence for: Commercial contracts, Lease agreements, Franchise agreements (Master Franchise, LOI, NDA), Partnership and investment agreements, Supplier agreements.
- Develop and standardize contract templates across the company.
Franchise and International Legal
- Participate in building and refining legal structures for international franchise models (Australia, US, etc.).
- Work with foreign lawyers and international partners to:
- Provide legal advice for SOKOGROUP’s international expansion strategy.
Compliance & Internal Governance
- Develop, update, and control: Internal processes, Operational regulations, Compliance frameworks
across the organization.
- Monitor compliance with laws and internal policies across departments.
F&B Operational Legal
- Handle and manage legal procedures for store operations, including: Business registration, Food safety licenses, Alcohol retail licenses, Product declarations, Intellectual property (brand, packaging, concept).
- Work directly with government authorities.
Risk Management & Dispute Resolution
- Identify, analyze, and assess legal risks in: Operational activities, Investment projects, Expansion / franchise activities.
- Represent the company in resolving disputes with: Suppliers and partners, Landlords, Employees.
Legal Updates & Strategic Advisory
- Monitor and update new legal regulations.
- Provide recommendations and actionable solutions aligned with business operations.
- Advise directly to the CEO and Board of Management on strategic decisions.
Legal System Management
- Manage legal documentation and contract storage.
- Develop legal database systems and tracking mechanisms.
- Coordinate with departments: Operations, Finance, HR, and Business Development.
- Experience & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Law
· Minimum 6–8 years of in-house legal experience, with at least 2 years in an equivalent position
- Preferred:
· Experience in F&B / Hospitality / Retail
· Experience in franchise or working with international partners
· Lawyer practicing certificate is an advantage
- Knowledge
· Strong understanding of: Corporate law, Commercial and contract law, Labor law and taxation, Intellectual property
- Familiar with: Franchise models, Cross-border agreements, Investment structures.
