Senior Mechanical Sourcing Engineer

1) Report to the Sourcing Manager.

2) Analyze customer BOMs (Bill of Materials) or samples to prepare RFQs (Request for Quotations), obtain pricing from suppliers, and integrate cost data into BOMs to ensure timely responses to all quotation requests.

Phân tích BOM (Biểu kê vật liệu) hoặc mẫu của khách hàng để chuẩn bị RFQ (Yêu cầu báo giá), lấy giá từ nhà cung cấp và tích hợp dữ liệu chi phí vào BOM để đảm bảo phản hồi kịp thời cho mọi yêu cầu báo giá.

3) Maintain a comprehensive database of quotation records, ensuring easy retrieval to optimize response time for future RFQs.

Duy trì cơ sở dữ liệu toàn diện về hồ sơ báo giá, đảm bảo dễ dàng truy xuất để tối ưu hóa thời gian phản hồi cho các RFQ trong tương lai.

4) Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure optimal support in pricing, lead time, and quality.

Phát triển và duy trì mối quan hệ chặt chẽ với các nhà cung cấp để đảm bảo hỗ trợ tối ưu về giá cả, thời gian giao hàng và chất lượng.

5) Actively participate in the supplier selection process, ensuring a supply base that provides a competitive advantage in quality, cost, delivery, and technology.

Tham gia tích cực vào quá trình lựa chọn nhà cung cấp, đảm bảo cơ sở cung ứng mang lại lợi thế cạnh tranh về chất lượng, chi phí, giao hàng và công nghệ.

6) Proactively review current production BOMs, identify alternative local suppliers, and implement cost-saving initiatives to enhance the supply chain.

Chủ động xem xét BOM sản xuất hiện tại, xác định các nhà cung cấp địa phương thay thế và triển khai các sáng kiến ​​tiết kiệm chi phí để nâng cao chuỗi cung ứng.

7) Cross-check product requirements and functionality, proposing alternative materials to improve competitiveness during the bidding process.

Kiểm tra chéo các yêu cầu và chức năng của sản phẩm, đề xuất các vật liệu thay thế để cải thiện khả năng cạnh tranh trong quá trình đấu thầu.

8) Support the NPI (New Product Introduction) process to ensure successful prototype builds and production ramp-up.

9) Perform other tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors (BOD), Sourcing Manager, or Sourcing Supervisor.

Thực hiện các nhiệm vụ khác theo chỉ định của Hội đồng quản trị (BOD), Quản lý nguồn cung ứng hoặc Giám sát nguồn cung ứng.

Note: This position has a strong Technical focus and is not a Procurement role.

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Materials Engineering.;
2. Experience: Minimum 04 years of experience in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Product Development, or Sourcing of mechanical components. Strong technical knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes (Resin, Plastic Injection, Metal, Casting, Assembly). Experience in supplier collaboration and cost analysis is a plus.
3. Computer skill: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant data management tools;
4. Language Skills: English proficiency: Intermediate or higher in reading and writing, basic to intermediate in speaking and listening. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
