Senior Merchandiser (Sport | Fluent English)

The successful candidate will oversee the below activities

• In charge of building the strategic buying plan for the assigned category.
• Market research, historical data analysis.
• Monitor and analyze business performance.
• Merchandise allocation.
• Inventory Management.
• Plan and deliver merchandise to stores across Vietnam.
• Communicate with business partners in HQ.

Detail Job Descriptions

• Analyzing consumer buying patterns and updating and predicting future fashion trends.
• Propose items to buy (style, type, design, quantity, etc) based on review and budget.
• Follow closely sales seasons, events, and new arrivals of the market to optimize stock level.
• Prepare analytical reports, presentations of the brand when needed frequently.
• Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets.
• Monitor and apply various merchandising methods and ensure increase in productivity.
• Analyze sales figures, customer reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock.
• Work closely with operations in order to receive new shipments.
• For retail: Manage product allocation to stores, and monitor item replenishment in order to ensure product availability in stores.
• Master file management.
• Collect data, analyze and monitor inventory on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
• Other: Support global procurement initiatives and deliver solutions to improve and streamline the processes.

• More than 3-year experience in international merchandising/ procurement.
• Working experience in the Fashion / Sport Retail industry is a must.
• Knowledgeable in the development and execution of procurement and procedures to a high standard as well as a basic knowledge of supplier relationship management process.
• Display excellent presentation and communication skills with a particular ability to influence and negotiate agreements with multiple stakeholders
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels, both external and internal. Commitment and result-driven are definitely a plus.
• Having good verbal and written communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
