SENIOR TECHNICAL PURCHASER

JOB PURPOSE:

• Mainly perform overseas and local Purchasing functions on Mold/Jig, Machining Parts, Production Parts, Machines, Equipment, Spare Parts, Capex Project and Services (mainly focus on Mold/Jig 80%, and others 20%).
• On time best quality delivered with lowest costs.
• Saving by purchasing activities does add value to the company by economical purchasing practices.
• To negotiate the best possible term annual contract.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for sourcing activities and end-to-end purchasing, with mainly focus on MOLD/JIG, Machining Parts, production parts, machinery, equipment, spare parts, CAPEX projects, and services to ensure uninterrupted operations and support the company's business continuity plan (mainly focus on Mold/Jig 80%, and others 20%).
• Negotiate daily demands and quoted prices.
• Check purchasing conditions quoted prices.
• Make price comparisons and sourcing recommendations after negotiation.
• Cross check Purchase Requisitions and issue Purchase Order.
• Negotiate new Contracts, terms, condition
• Maintain and update existing Contracts and add regularly purchased items.
• Sustain appliance of Purchasing Process.
• Cross-check and support departments to specify demands.
• Support department in search of new potential suppliers.
• Develop new suppliers.

• [MUST] Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• [MUST] Minimum 3-5 years of solid hands-on experience in end-to-end purchasing of Mold/Jig/Machining Parts for manufacturing environment parts.
• [MUST] Good at technical drawings reading skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel, and skilled in price and commercial term negotiations.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and purchasing processes is preferred.
• Consistent, detail-oriented, analytical.
• Good speaking and written skills in English.
