SHEQ & Compliance Manager

Hiring Justification:

To ensure full implementation and compliance of Safety, Health, Environment, Quality (SHEQ) standards and local regulations

To strengthen internal compliance management and minimize operational and regulatory risks

To enhance workforce capability through structured training programs

To support the Head of Country in managing overall compliance and operational excellence

Position Objectives:

Manage all SHEQ and Training activities within approved budgets and timelines

Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production operations

Ensure full compliance with company policies and Vietnamese regulations

Key Responsibilities:

SHEQ:

• Manage and implement the SHEQ function across the company
• Ensure strict adherence to safety systems and proper documentation
• Provide guidance to production and maintenance teams on SHEQ matters
• Drive SHEQ initiatives and continuous improvement programs
• Coordinate with external agencies and local authorities on SHEQ issues

Training:

• Develop and manage training programs in line with company guidelines
• Ensure all employees meet required competency standards
• Maintain and manage the training system (Traccess)
• Monitor training progress and prepare monthly reports
• Develop training materials, including SOPs
• Coordinate with external parties and authorities for training requirements

Compliance:

• Support the Head of Country in managing compliance across the organization
• Ensure adherence to all internal and legal compliance requirements
• Provide guidance to functional heads on compliance matters
• Coordinate with external stakeholders and authorities on compliance issues
• Ensure local product safety monitoring and compliance
• Collaborate with GSV and EU QPPV on safety-related matters
• Report system changes and safety concerns appropriately

Candidate Requirements:

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in SHEQ and Training management
• Preferably from industrial gases, chemical, or manufacturing industries
• Technical background and safety certifications preferred.
• Experience in similar industrial gases company is an advantage and similar industrial gases company

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering
• (Preferred: Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of process industry standards
• Good knowledge of local SHEQ and compliance regulations
• Experience in managing training systems
• Strong communication skills in Vietnamese and English
• Ability to work cross-functionally and with external authorities

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $1.5-2.5k

Benefits: Employees are entitled to up to 21 days of paid leave, TBD, Training Oversea, Health care (family), 13th salary, Bonus, SPOT recognition transportation
