Supplier Quality Engineer

Work Location: VSIP I (Ho Chi Minh)

Duties and responsibilities:

- Continue to develop the Supplier Quality Program and qualify suppliers through quality surveys, quality manual reviews, and on-site assessments.

- Conduct supplier training when necessary and serve as the technical interface between Engineering and suppliers.

- Lead supplier development activities, including sourcing new suppliers and driving continuous improvement of existing suppliers.

- Prepare monthly quality reports and other reports as required by the company.

- Handle and monitor the nonconforming issues with suppliers.

- Manage supplier NCR database, Supplier Corrective Action (SCAR) process and generate supplier quality reports.

- Root cause is quickly determined and a corrective action plan Implemented.

- Cycle time for closing RTV is reduced.

- Provide technical support by collaborating with cross-functional teams, reviewing supplier nonconforming parts, supporting failure analysis, performing statistical analysis, and participating in internal, customer, and third-party audits.

Educational Background

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science preferably in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering.

Working Experience

- At least 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, or related roles in an international manufacturing environment.

- Experience working with supplier quality processes, including NCR, SCAR, and CAPA
