Supply Planning Leader

Job Summary

CJ Foods Vietnam is looking for a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven The Supply Planning Leader to join our team. This role is responsible for translating approved demand plans into feasible, cost-effective, and executable supply plans by synchronizing production, procurement, capacity, inventory, and distribution.

This role ensures service level targets are met at optimal cost, while balancing capacity constraints, material availability, and inventory health, and acts as the key bridge between Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and S&OP.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop & Own the Master Supply Plan (MPS):

• Convert approved demand forecasts and customer orders into a time-phased MPS
• Balance service level, inventory targets, and production efficiency
• Freeze / slush / flexible horizons to control plan stability

2. Lead Capacity & Constraint Planning (RCCP):

• Evaluate line, labor, and machine capacity against demand
• Identify gaps, bottlenecks, and overloads; propose mitigation (overtime, shift changes, subcontracting)
• Ensure supply plans are realistic and executable

3. Synchronize Production, Procurement & Inventory:

• Align production plans with raw material availability and supplier lead times
• Optimize FG / WIP / RM inventory levels to avoid shortages and excess
• Drive resolution of material constraints with Procurement

4. Manage Exceptions & Supply Risks:

• Monitor deviations (forecast changes, capacity loss, material shortages)
• Run what-if scenarios and recommend trade-offs (cost vs service vs inventory)
• Lead rapid response for critical supply issues

5. Drive S&OP Supply Review & Cross-Functional Alignment

• Prepare and present Supply Review in the S&OP cycle
• Highlight key constraints, risks, and decisions required
• Ensure alignment between Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics

1. Education & Experience:

• A Bachelor degree or equivalent

• Major in Supply chain/ Operation/ Business or have a passion for it.

2. Technical Skills:

• Proven experience in demand planning, supply chain management, inventory control, or related fields.

• This typically includes 3 - 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain planning roles.
