[Tân Phú, HCM] Chemical Lab Typist Team Leader - TIC Lab

We are looking for a Report Typing Team Lead to manage and supervise a team responsible for preparing laboratory reports.

This role ensures that all reports are accurate, properly formatted, and delivered on time, supporting laboratory operations and client commitments.

Role Purpose: To lead the report preparation process by coordinating team workload, supervising report typing quality, and ensuring timely delivery of laboratory reports.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work Planning & Delivery Management

• Track report due dates in coordination with Customer Service and related teams
• Plan, assign, and monitor team workload to ensure reports are completed on time
• Manage priorities to handle urgent and high-volume report delivery

2. Report Preparation & Quality Control

• Oversee the typing and formatting of reports from:
  • Raw laboratory data
  • ELIMS system
• Ensure reports are accurate, complete, and properly formatted before release
• Support preparation of complex or urgent reports when required

3. Team Management & Development

• Supervise, train, and guide a team of typists
• Ensure team members meet productivity and quality standards
• Support team development through coaching and daily guidance

4. Cross-functional Coordination

• Work closely with Laboratory teams (Softlines / Analytical) to confirm report details
• Coordinate with QA and Customer Service on report corrections or client requests
• Ensure smooth communication between stakeholders to avoid delays or errors

5. Other Duties

• Perform other tasks assigned by the direct manager

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in:
  • Report preparation / typing / transcription
  • OR technical documentation roles
• Experience in Chemical testing laboratories, inspection companies, or technical reporting is a strong advantage

Education: Diploma or Degree in Chemistry or related fields

Language

• English: Reading & writing proficiency (to understand technical reports and data)

Other Requirements

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Proven leadership and team management ability
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
