Technical Service Manager – Flooring

1. Technical & Line Support (Primary Focus)

• Provide on-site technical support for flooring coatings and application systems.

• Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot flooring coating lines.

• Conduct colour matching and sample preparation based on customer needs.

• Perform routine line assessments and issue clear technical reports.

• Support product trials and new formulation testing from R&D.

• Maintain strong working knowledge of flooring coatings, substrates, and

application methods.

• Act as technical liaison between customers and internal teams.

2. Trials & Process Optimization

• Plan and execute customer trials on flooring lines.

• Test coating systems according to line configuration.

• Document and report trial results.

• Provide structured feedback to R&D.

3. Team Leadership

• Lead and supervise colour matching technicians.

• Train team members on colour standards and application methods.

• Ensure consistency and quality in colour matching work.

• Organize daily technical tasks for the team.

4. Customer Support

• Support Technical Sales during customer visits and trials.

• Assist with onboarding of new customers.

• Respond to customer technical issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Practical experience with flooring coating lines and coating technologies

(essential).

·        Diploma or higher

·        Computer literate

·        English speaking and writing

·        Minimum of 5-years experience in the related field

·        Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organisational and planning abilities and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
