Technical Services Technician (Wood Coatings)

Purpose:

• Serve as an expert in color matching for panels, samples, and production line monitoring as assigned by the line manager, ensuring all tasks are completed without quality issues.

• Provide support across all business segments as directed by management.

• Participate in all company-provided training sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare pre-production samples for specific products when required.

• Supervise product quality across all production lines.

• Troubleshoot issues across the entire production line to maintain quality standards.

• Demonstrate expertise in color matching, finishing schedules, and wet sample preparation.

• Communicate effectively with customer line leaders and internal reporting lines in a professional manner.

• Adapt to work in any segment or stage of the production process as directed by the supervisor.

• Implement annual P&DD (Performance & Development Discussion) objectives as guided by the supervisor.

• Perform all assigned tasks with responsibility and integrity.

• Complete standard job requirements as assigned by direct or higher-level managers.

• Support peers in completing tasks as needed.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the line manager.

• Bachelor or college degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Open to fresh graduates; prior experience in a laboratory or production environment is a plus but not required.

• Strong interest in technical work, color matching, and quality supervision.

• High level of color sensitivity and ability to distinguish subtle differences in color.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Adaptability to work across different segments and stages of production.

• Motivation for continuous learning and development.

• Proficiency in English or Chinese is a plus.
