Technical Support (TS) Engineer (Chinese Speaking)

We are looking for a dedicated Technical Support Engineer to work closely with our Chinese customers who use Koh Young’s 3D inspection systems (SPI, AOI). In this role, you will directly support customers with system installation, troubleshooting, user training, and production-related technical assistance. You will collaborate closely with our internal engineering team to ensure smooth customer operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation & System Setup

• Coordinate installation and configuration of hardware and software at customer sites
• Ensure systems are properly tested and fully operational upon handover

2. Customer Support & Troubleshooting

• Assist customers with production testing and prepare technical reports
• Diagnose and resolve issues encountered during daily production
• Log technical issues accurately and work with HQ engineers to provide timely solutions

3. Training & Technical Guidance

• Conduct user training sessions on system operation, programming, and maintenance
• Provide on-site and remote guidance to optimize customer workflows

4. Business Support

• Occasionally participate in business trips to support urgent customer requirements
• Communicate directly with Chinese clients in Chinese for technical support, reporting, and relationship management

Must Have

• Fluent Chinese communication (spoken and written) — required for direct customer support with Chinese-speaking clients
• Strong willingness to learn technical systems (training will be provided)
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel occasionally for customer support

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in technical support, machinery, electronics, or manufacturing
• Knowledge of inspection equipment (SPI, AOI) is a plus, but not required
