Lead & manage end-to-end upholstery production to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and quality excellence, aligned with company’s operational and business targets.
2. Key Responsibilities
Production Management- Oversee daily production activities for upholstery (sofa, chair, cushions)
- Ensure production plan meets delivery schedule & output targets
- Monitor capacity, manpower allocation & production efficiency
- Control production flow: cutting – sewing – assembly – finishing
- Ensure products meet internal & client quality standards
- Reduce defect rate, rework, and customer complaints
- Work with QA/QC for quality improvements
- Lead root cause analysis & corrective actions
- Drive lean manufacturing / continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S)
- Optimize labor productivity & material usage
- Control production cost vs budget
- Improve line balancing & cycle time
- Lead production team (Supervisors, Line leaders, Workers)
- Build strong middle layer capability
- Train workforce on skills, safety & quality standards
- Drive performance culture
- Ensure compliance with EHS standards
- Maintain safe working environment
- Lead safety training & incident prevention
- Work with Planning, IE, QA, Supply Chain
- Support new product development (NPI)
- Coordinate with Sales/Customer
