About the Role
The Umdenken is a niche, rapidly growing EdTech company delivering premium non-technical skills training globally. We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Digital Marketing & Social Strategy Lead to own our digital footprint.
You will be responsible for building a high-growth marketing engine—balancing the analytical rigour of performance marketing (CAC, ROAS, LTV) with the creative art of social media storytelling. This role is perfect for a leader who can manage a six-figure ad budget and also brainstorm a viral LinkedIn thought-leadership campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Strategy & Performance Marketing
Own the Growth Engine: Develop and execute the overarching digital strategy to drive customer acquisition and retention for our proprietary eLearning platform.
Media Buying: Plan and allocate budgets across Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Reddit, etc.
Data-Driven Optimization: Monitor and optimise key metrics (CAC, ROAS, LTV, CTR) to ensure maximum ROI on ad spend.
Testing & Iteration: Lead rigorous A/B testing on ad creatives, audiences, and landing pages.
2. Social Media & Brand Storytelling
Narrative Leadership: Translate complex educational concepts into engaging, visual social media content.
Content Production: Manage the end-to-end production of social assets, from editorial planning to publishing and performance monitoring.
Thought Leadership: Create "social-first" sales and thought-leadership content that supports our Sales and Presales teams.
Asset Management: Maintain a consistent and high-quality brand library, ensuring all materials align with our premium brand standards.
3. Conversion & Funnel Optimization
Collaborate with product and web teams to optimise the website for traffic and user experience.
Utilise Google Analytics and Clarity to suggest actionable insights for funnel improvement.
Oversee SEO strategies to boost organic rankings and search visibility.
4. Leadership & Collaboration
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Creative teams to ensure a unified global message.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years in digital marketing, preferably within D2C, B2B, or a high-growth startup environment.
Performance Expertise: Proven track record in scaling paid media with a deep understanding of full-funnel metrics.
Social Mastery: Expertise in LinkedIn, Reddit and social media platforms.engagement strategies, with a knack for community building.
Design Savvy: Hands-on experience with content creation tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, is an advantage.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Media, Business, or a related field.
Communication: Fluent in English with the ability to collaborate across global time zones via Slack, Zoom, and GSuite.
