IE Staff

1. Job Purpose

• To analyze production processes, establish standard time (SAM), and support costing and efficiency improvement to ensure competitive pricing and optimal production performance.

2. Key Responsibilities

Process Analysis & Standardization

• Read and analyze customer documents in English
• Analyze garment processes based on samples or technical documents using Excel
• Work with factory IE teams to establish and standardize SAM (Standard Allowed Minutes)

Time Study & Efficiency Evaluation

• Conduct time studies and observe worker operations at factories
• Calculate standard time, cycle time, and efficiency based on order quantity
• Update and adjust actual production time for each operation when required

Costing & Pricing

• Set operation costs for each department (cutting, sewing, ironing, finishing, etc.) by style
• Support quotation preparation for Merchandising team to work with customers
• Negotiate pricing with factories and resolve unit price-related issues

Continuous Improvement & Coordination

• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and optimize processes
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, and factory teams for data alignment and issue resolution

Other Duties

• Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Garment/Textile, or related fields
• Experience in IE or production analysis in garment industry is preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of garment production processes and workflow
• Understanding of SAM, time study, and productivity analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good negotiation and communication skills

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, calculations)
• Familiar with IE tools and methodologies

Language

• Good command of English (reading and understanding technical documents)
