Maintenance and Repairs Executive (Base in HCM)

Summary Position

• Responsible for performing weekly on-site depot/icds visits to random check their inspection performance and compare the accuracy of estimate submitted vs actual inspection,
• Evaluate the repair quality to make sure the repair methods are up to standard and correct with the approved EOR.
• Submit weekly audit report to HOD timely for depot/vendor assestment

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage repair activities vs market trend.
• Identify potential risks/errors of inspection and estimation of damaged container.
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints regarding damaged containers.
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
• Comply with laws, regulations, IICL standard and ISO requirements.
• Able to evaluate the inspection performance and the repair quality.
• Good training skill for depots/repair workshops regarding MSC standard and IICL/ other regulations.
• Having knowledge of depot/port operation and negotiation skill

Key Experience & Qualifications

• Good written & spoken English skills.
• Minimum Diploma qualified, preferably in the field of Maritime or Logistic and Supply Chain.
• IICL Certificate is prefer

Key Competencies & Skills

• Have deep container repair and survey knowledge.
• Proven working experience as an estimator.
• Proficient in standard Microsoft software.
• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
• Opportunity for cost reduction in containers repairs.
• Timely and accurate submission of required reports.
