The Procurement Supervisor of Supply Chain is a key member of the site Supply Chain Team and a talented group of professionals who work with and manage suppliers to assure Nextern Procurement, costing, schedules and production priorities are maintained and deliver Quality Products that exceed customer expectations. Continuous communication with the supplier and Nextern team that assures the supplier is maintaining the best interests of Nextern.
Job Description:
Overall Responsibilities:
· Maintain and manage good supplier relationships.
· Understand the business of manufacturing
· Understand and assist the quality engineers to assure product quality requirements are implemented and maintained.
· Understand and assist the production engineers to assure tooling, product and production time frames are met.
· Continuous supplier negotiations that assure product and tooling costs are controlled and justified.
· Continuous supplier negotiations that assure production schedules are prioritized and maintained per Nextern production requirements.
· Review all tooling and product invoices to assure costs are accurate and justified
· Review all tooling and product quotes to assure costs, lead-times and materials are accurate and justified.
· Acknowledge and respond to e-mails and tasks daily and accurately.
· Manage the daily production priorities outlined by the corporate office.
· Work with suppliers to provide month end statements based on product deliveries and outstanding accounts payable.
· Complies with company rules and regulations as outlined in the employee handbook, which may be amended or replaced from time to time;
· Carry out other duties from Supply Chain Manager

Qualification:
1. BS above, strongly background on Procurement
2. At least 3-5 years of experience in purchasing
3. Good at English (speaking and writing)
4. Able to interact with all levels of employees, management, external and internal customers
5. Organizational and planning skills, including ability to: prioritize work, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set personal goals and enforce personal deadlines, while maintaining flexibility to reassess and prioritize goals
6. Analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
7. Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
8. Computer literacy
