Senior Washing Merchandiser

1. Job Purpose

• To manage washing development and bulk execution, ensuring consistency in color, quality, and finishing effects while meeting customer expectations and production requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities

Washing Development & Approval

• Review ISSS, shade blanket, and approve shade band for bulk production
• Lead fabric and wash development to meet customer requirements
• Coordinate with technical and washing teams to achieve desired effects

Bulk Production Management

• Follow up bulk washing quality with laundry factories
• Approve bulk washing and ensure consistency across production
• Monitor washing results and ensure alignment with approved standards

Quality Control & Problem Solving

• Identify issues in bulk washing and provide solutions to laundry partners
• Work closely with QA/QC and production teams to resolve quality concerns
• Ensure shade consistency and finishing quality meet client expectations

Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with internal teams, laundry vendors, and customers on washing-related matters
• Provide clear updates and technical feedback throughout development and production stages

Other Duties

• Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile, Garment, or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of experience in denim washing/merchandising
• Strong experience in washing development and bulk production

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of denim washing techniques, shade control, and finishing processes
• Good understanding of fabric behavior and wash effects
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good communication and coordination skills

Language

• English communication is preferred
