Warehouse Manager

Job Objective:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and finished goods. This role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory levels, optimizing warehouse layout, and ensuring compliance with company and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and supervise daily warehouse operations: Oversee all activities including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials to ensure smooth operations and compliance with procedures.

2. Control inventory accuracy and maintain stock records: Ensure all goods are properly counted, recorded, and stored. Conduct periodic stock checks and reconcile discrepancies with accounting and production teams.

3. Develop and implement warehouse layout and storage optimization: Design warehouse zones to improve space utilization, accessibility, and material flow efficiency.

4. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and audit requirements: Implement and enforce warehouse safety regulations, fire prevention measures, and housekeeping standards.

5. Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, and Logistics departments: Work closely with related departments to ensure timely material supply for production and efficient outbound shipments.

6. Manage and develop warehouse staff: Train, coach, and evaluate warehouse team members to ensure competency, discipline, and teamwork spirit.

7. Monitor and report warehouse performance metrics: Prepare periodic reports on inventory accuracy, material movement, warehouse efficiency, and cost control.

8. Lead process improvement and digitalization initiatives: Identify opportunities for automation, ERP enhancement, and workflow optimization to increase productivity and reduce errors.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in manufacturing or electronics industries.
• Knowledge & Skills: Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse layout, and ERP systems (e.g., Misa, SAP, or Amis). Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Soft Skills: Effective leadership, communication, and cross-departmental coordination skills.
• Language: English proficiency in reading and reporting.
• Others: Integrity, responsibility, and strong sense of discipline.
