I. JOB OVERVIEW:
· The International Sales Specialist is responsible for overseeing and company’s export sales target within the rubber industry. This role involves developing international markets, establishing strong relationships with global customers to meets sales targets.
II. JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Export Sales Duty:
· Develop and execute a comprehensive export sales/customers.
· Identify and evaluate new international market opportunities, including emerging markets and potential growth areas.
2. Market Expansion & Business Development:
· Research and analyse global market trends and customer needs.
· Establish and grow a network of international customers.
3. Client Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and preferences.
· Negotiate and close export deals, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the company.
· Address and resolve customer issues, conflicts, or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
4. Compliance & Risk Management:
· Ensure all export activities comply with international trade regulations, export controls, and industry standards.
· Monitor and mitigate risks associated with international sales, including currency fluctuations, political risks, and cultural differences.
5. Sales Operations & Reporting:
· Oversee the entire export sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and fulfilment.
· Collaborate with supply chain, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products to international customers.
· Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to the executive team.
6. International Trade Shows & Networking:
· Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry conferences.
· Network with potential customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to promote the company and its products.
· Stay updated on industry developments, technological advancements, and market changes.
I. REQUIREMENTS:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
· Minimum of 05 years of experience in international sales, preferably within the rubber or related industry.
Skills:
· Strong understanding of international trade regulations, export compliance, and logistics.
· Excellent negotiation, and networking skills.
· Proficiency in market analysis and strategic planning.
· Familiarity with CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Multilingual skills are an advantage.
