1. Identifying and quantifying potential tax risks, providing comments on which action could be undertaken to reduce the identified tax exposures
2. Advise in preparation and declaration of local tax filling, including Value Added Tax, Foreign Contractor Tax, Corporate Incom Tax, Personal Income Tax and other tax fillings to ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations
3. Maintain tax records properly
4. Provide advice to accounting team and cross functions regarding to tax entries and reconcilliation of tax related general ledger accounts
5. Manage tax inquiries and tax audits conducted by the tax authorities; maintain a professional relationship with audiors
6. Respond to internal and external tax inquires, and assist business partners with tax issues timely
7. Monitor and analyze proposed and newly enacted tax legislation, regulations and judicial decisions that impact the company operations and financial position;
8. Provide tax advice/support on various service lines / business projects targeted Vietnam as well as ad hoc tax matters.
9. Support projects and help define systems improvements, process improvements
· Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance.
· From 2 to 3 years of experience in Tax consultant - Accounting - Auditing.
· Excellent knowledge of accounting tax laws and regulations.
· Experience in the FMCG industry, Big 4 is a plus
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
· Collaboration & communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with both internal / external stakeholders and team working in a complex multi-functional environment
· Leadership skills, ability to make timely decisions and influence distribution partners
· Detail oriented and possess initiative, pro-active & can-do attitude
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel & Power point
· Fluent in English
