Develop, implement, and evaluate complex quality programs and ensure program integration with other functions.
Acquire green coffee knowledge and to obtain certifications to support HACCP, ISO, PCQI, and GFSI standards (SQF).
2. Quality Standard Measurement and Management
Implement and support a strong culture of quality, accountability, and process improvement, ensuring that the manufacturing processes produce products that meet and exceed regulatory and customer standards.
Collaborate with Production team in process of QA checks
Collaborate with various departments in the facility on mitigation strategies when EMP concerns arise.
Perform various internal audits, conduct paperwork reviews
Conduct analytical and microbial testing as well as interpret results and trend data
Understanding of coffee cupping procedures and ability to perform sensory evaluation for incoming green coffee and roasted coffee
Troubleshoot quality equipment and equipment calibrations.
Perform finished product QA testing include sensory evaluation.
Perform verification activities as related to facility specific quality programs.
Support and enforce GMP and all SQF compliance throughout the facility.
Walk through the facility daily, support/lead investigations, and the resolutions of quality issues.
3. Training & Documentation
Support/ Lead quality and food safety systems training.
Ensure that all necessary documentation is maintained and up to date to support the organization's ISO and other relevant certifications
Prepare complex technical reports with major impact to business; makes recommendation on improvements affecting operations or project management.

BSc in Food Science/ MS in Food Technology or related discipline.
05+ years of working experience in food manufacturing and quality, 05+ years’ experience working within a quality control team.
Previous experience with overseeing third party manufacturing, warehousing, and compliance.
ISO certification experience is required.
Knowledge of HACCP, ISO, and other key food safety systems
Knowledge of coffee & tea products preferred.
Skills (Ability to):
Must be able to develop an action plan for the overall quality teams as well as motivate and lead employees.
Strong leadership ability to manage and motivate staff.
Strong organization and communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings, conduct training and to present information in an advisory capacity.
Proficient in ERP (Navision preferred) and maintenance PM software.
Excellent project management skills.
Fluent in English written and verbal skills is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and Internet Explorer.
