Key Responsibilities
1) Maintain , review and improve the organisation’s quality assurance management system in accordance to latest regulatory requirements, international standards,customer’s requirements and specifications.
2) Ensure HACCP, Pre-requisite programs and QMS within the facility are maintained and being complied with;
3) Liaise with other departments , carry put periodic KPI performance review on raw material quality ,internal processes quality conformance, product conformance and customer satisfaction.
4) Liaise with other departments, undertake and lead the investigation, corrective action and analyse the food safety impact of the non-conforming raw materials and products , and subsequently propose acceptance or disposition methods.
5) To control rejected and pending raw materials or products.
6) Evaluate laboratory analysis and reports and review internal quality standards and testing methods .
7) To conduct or participate in supplier periodic audits ( e.g. 3rd party warehouse , packaging suppliers. etc )
8) Manage the traceability and recall programs;
9) Manage and play a leading role in performing FSSC2200 internal audits and subsequently prepare the internal audit reports
10) Liaise with local regulatory authorities and third party certification bodies ( HACCP, FSSC22000etc ) for new certification and surveillance audit.
11) To review and develop new raw material/ final product spec / grading template for both sites ( AB).
12) Ensure product grading is on time and associated documents (CofAs, Final Product Release Certs etc) are correct and legible;
13) Provide training on Pre-requisite programs (food handling/hygiene, GMP, Process Control etc) and HACCP;
14) Maintain, control and conduct maintenance of the QMS, HACCP document to reflect additions, deletions, or amendments.
15) To investigate customer’s complaints and lead the investigation to provide report and corrective actions in a timely manner.
16) Measures of data quality and studies trend of all existing products
17) Facilitate New Business proposals, including initial assessments, trial production and 1st run of commercial production.
18) Manage a team of quality staffs under documentation / quality in-process / raw materials / product disposition. Ensure the Quality team perform their roles and responsibilities as defined in their job descriptions.
19) Other activities as required by immediate superior.
