i. Comprehensive Overview:
As a key member of our product sales team, the Business Development Manager reports to the Regional Sales Manager / Head of Department. This role focuses on driving the revenue growth and profitability (gross margin) of the product segments assigned by delivering values to the Medical Device Division, primarily healthcare industry. Responsibilities include establishing new key principals through new business development, cultivating relationships with existing principals to increase revenue and execution of new growth strategies with both marketing and sales team to achieve revenue growth for the division in Vietnam.
The objective is to drive sales growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and stay informed about industry trends. This position is instrumental in advancing our mission to provide innovative medical device solutions and fostering lasting connections within the healthcare sector.
ii. Key Responsibilities:
- To develop and implement strategies that help the business segment (MED) achieve its goals, increase revenue, and improve efficiency.
- To ensure the business segment (MED) achieving the sales revenue and gross profit margin set in the Business Plan.
- To provide effective leadership, guidance, and mentorship by formulating product strategies to ensure local sales team meet the product segment goals and objectives.
- To strategize sales activities within assigned territories, identifying potential clients through healthcare market research, networking, and competitor activities
- To eloquently present and showcase the value proposition of the offered products or services to clients during sales pitches, trade shows, or other opportunities.
- To cultivate and maintain new and existing relationships with customers to promote the organization's interests and ensure its success.
- To work with Regional Sales Manager / Head of Department to identify the Growth and Expansion Track (BD) and follow Business Development programs for the product segment assigned through collaborating with the related teams to promote product R&D, identify the growth and expansion track.
- To monitor the business development process and product launch in Vietnam for the product segments assigned.
iii. Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Nursing and Biomedical Engineering or relevant disciplines
- Proven sales track records with experience in sales in Medical Device for more than 3 years
- In-depth knowledge of Healthcare Sector processes and requirements
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to understand and convey technical information to diverse audiences.
