Objective
The Cashier Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operation and supervising the teams of cashiers to ensure effective cash management and excellent customers service, working along with operation manager and other cashiers to ensure a positive experience for customers visiting the park.
Key responsibilities
● Coordinate daily customer service and cashiering in operations;
● Assign, evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs;
● Arrange cash in safe tidily and scientifically to ensure easy daily inventory;
● Develop cashier SOPs, ensure SOPs are properly excecuted and followed;
● Train, coach and support new cashiers; train staff on all aspects of information pertaining to the Cashier’s office to provide excellent customer service such as sales techniques, daily cash balancing operations, problem solving, etc.;
● Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best;
● Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives;
● Maintain awareness of all promotions, advertisements and new service;
● Daily monitor staff attendance, leave record and report to Front office manager;
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
College of Economics/ Finance or relevant field
Able to use POS system, calculations and payment tools effectively
Knowledge of retail policies, procedures, and pricing structures
Strong understanding of customer service principles
2+ years of experience working in the field, including retail environment or amusement parks, ideally in a supervisor role
Proven track record of maintaining accurate cash transactions and providing excellent customer service
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions in high-pressure situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good observation and calculation skills
Strong commercial, customer satisfaction focus, and personal ethics
