To be responsible for the management, development, delivery the merchandise strategy and category management concepts to subordinates, maximize category sales, profit, trading income generation, stock, and support stores to achieve best operating results. She/He will manage 1 or 2 categories including:
II. Job Accountabilities:
2.1. Strategic:
Implement the merchandise, buying and pricing strategies for categories, in line with the agreed company vision and mission.
Control all nationwide range and approval local range in each region for the incharge category.
NW Pricing and Margin strategy (RSP & Promotion) for category(ies)
Establish and maintain effective SKU control and tail management.
2.2 Sales and Profit
Maintain budget margin and pricing frame which maximizes business profits whilst delivering a good value offer to the customer.
Handle suppliers on Trading Terms, Marketing activation and Trading Income
2.3 People:
Build an effective and open working relationship both within the Merchandising Department and with other Departments.
Share to Supervisor/assistant direction and problem solving.
Other tasks are as assigned by Line Manager.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred
Minimum 6-8 years’ working experience in Retail merchandising and at least 2 years at the same position
Good at English and computer skills
Quick learning, willing to take up challenges
Outstanding communication skills
Able to work independently, possess a high level of responsibility and commitment
