Job Overview: The Event & Activation Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end consumer engagement activities, including strategic activations, product sampling, and event executions. This role ensures alignment with business goals, adherence to budget constraints, and the achievement of defined KPIs and quality standards. The Manager will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure all activities are executed smoothly and deliver measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Vendor Selection & Management:
• Identify and engage with advertising and activation agencies that align with business objectives, ensuring cost efficiency and service quality.
• Establish transparent workflows with vendors, closely monitoring performance and ensuring contractual compliance.
2. Strategic Planning & Execution:
• Develop and oversee consumer engagement activities like product samplings, launch events, and strategic activations.
• Utilize consumer insights to innovate activation strategies that optimize consumer flow in GT (General Trade) and MT (Modern Trade) markets.
3. Budget Management:
• Manage program budgets effectively, tracking ROI and using data-driven tools for real-time adjustments to maximize cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Data Analytics teams for coordinated and effective execution of activations.
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance consumer data capture at activations.
5. Innovation & Data-Driven Optimization:
• Use data analytics to track consumer interactions during activations, improving consumer flow and engagement to ensure strong ROI.
6. Competitor Research & Market Trend Monitoring:
• Continuously research competitor events and market trends, adapting strategies to keep activations fresh and competitive.
7. Post-Activation Reporting & Evaluation:
• Summarize and evaluate program results, tracking KPIs, consumer interactions, and ROI to optimize future activations.
8. PG (Promoter Girls) Management:
• Oversee recruitment, training, and performance of PGs, ensuring they are equipped for impactful consumer interactions.
9. Team Development:
• Develop and mentor the Event & Activation team, fostering innovation, data optimization, and strong consumer engagement skills.
10. Project Control – KPIs, Quality, and Promotional Items:
• Ensure all projects meet KPIs and quality standards, overseeing product samples and promotional items to align with brand expectations.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE:
• 3-5 years of experience in brand activations or event management, preferably in FMCG or similar industries.
• Experience with vendor management, budget oversight, and cross-functional collaboration is highly desirable.

1. Project Management:
• Strong project management skills to oversee multiple events and activations concurrently.
2. Data Analytics & Optimization:
• Proficiency in leveraging data analytics to monitor and improve activation strategies.
3. Collaboration & Communication:
• Exceptional collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and external vendors.
4. Consumer Engagement & Innovation:
• Ability to create engaging consumer experiences and innovate activation strategies that adapt to market trends.
